This seminar will be an introduction to the music of the Pigmees of central Africa: we will study traditional ways of creating polyphonies and special vocal techniques like jodel.

Njamy Sitson is a singer, composer, multi instrumentalist and storyteller from Camerun, he’s active in Europe in the field of early music, he inherited from family tradition the repertoire he will share to the students.
